Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Customer and Sales Support Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring an excellent customer experience while supporting the sales team in day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate will assist customers with inquiries, process orders, and coordinate with internal departments to deliver timely and accurate solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, or in person.
- Provide product and service information, including pricing, availability, and lead times.
- Accurately enter and process sales orders, quotes, and invoices in the company system.
- Support sales representatives by preparing proposals, order updates, and follow-up communications.
- Track orders from entry to delivery, ensuring customers are updated throughout the process.
- Handle customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally, escalating when necessary.
- Maintain customer records and ensure account details are up to date.
- Collaborate with operations, logistics, and accounting teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
- Assist with generating sales reports, tracking metrics, and maintaining CRM data.
- Contribute to a positive customer experience and promote long-term relationships.
- Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, or sales support preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-first mindset.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus.
- High attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving attitude and ability to remain calm under pressure.
- High school diploma required; associates or bachelors degree preferred.
- Full-time position, Monday-Friday.
