About the Job
CDS Home Services is seeking a dynamic professional to assist in the execution and management of a growing generator and electrical company. The Sales Administrator will be responsible for overseeing all office and administrative aspects of daily generator sales operations. This role reports directly to our Office Operations Manager for the Home Services business unit. Our primary goal is to ensure excellent operational standards are met and that we maintain high customer satisfaction.

Sales Administrator
In this role, you will work in the office assisting with Sales and day-to-day administrative duties. You can anticipate this role to focus on operational performance to meet customer expectations. A successful applicant will be able to:

•Work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating efforts with other employees and external customers
Essential Job Functions
•Support the Office Operations Manager with inside sales activities.
•Place a high volume of outbound sales calls to warm leads.
•Provide hands-on support for THD Product Knowledge training in local THD stores within our Territory.
•Schedule customers for estimates on the dispatch board & close out estimates once completed.
•Send customer estimates and follow up on the status to close the sale.
•Work closely with our Estimator team on refining the sales funnel and ensuring seamless customer experience.
•Support the Office Operations Manager in writing contracts for closed sales and passing all necessary information to the install team.
•Handle all customer complaints in a professional and timely manner, escalating and communicating to your direct manager as needed.
•Support the team as needed with the dispatch board to ensure that estimates are scheduled correctly
•Support the Office Operations Manager with marketing initiatives, email, mail, phone, and in-person.
•Working within multiple computer systems to track sales and marketing activities, ensuring that we are capitalizing on our sales pipelines.
•Provide support with onboarding new customers and vendor lines.
•Support established vendor programs and sales initiatives.
•Provide industry recommendations for continuous improvement efforts in expanding sales and improving customer experience.
•Providing support to the maintenance team with administrative tasks on a daily basis as needed.
Required Education and Experience
•1-3 years of administration experience
•1 Year of customer service experience
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suites
•Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook
•Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new systems
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
•Strong attention to detail
•The ability to place and receive a high volume of calls
•Poses a willingness to learn while working in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
•1-3 years of sales experience, preferably outside sales
•1 year of experience creating and developing marketing materials
•Experience with sharing product knowledge information to a broad audience
•Experience coordinating the service and sale of products within regulated industries
•Experience with Microsoft Excel
•Experience in the gas and electric industry
•AA Degree or advanced education

Travel
•Travel within the field and to store locations is expected for this position between 8-16 hours per week.

Work Environment
•This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. This position also requires operations within a warehouse and field environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
