Job Summary:
The Sales Account Manager is responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding customer relationships within the Chattanooga market. With a strong background in building materials, construction, or roofing sales, this individual will drive business growth through excellent customer service, product knowledge, and sales strategy. A Spanish-speaking candidate is preferred to better support a diverse customer base. This position involves both inside and outside sales responsibilities, including walk-in customer service, proactive outreach, and account management.

Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Customer Development:
•Develop and grow existing and new customer accounts within the Chattanooga area.
•Deliver exceptional customer service and support both in-person and via phone/email.
•Assist customers with product selection, pricing, and troubleshooting issues.
•Enter and process orders accurately and efficiently.
Account & Territory Management:
•Maintain strong relationships with contractors, builders, and suppliers.
•Work closely with the branch team to meet sales goals and service standards.
•Track and report on sales metrics and customer interactions.
Communication & Bilingual Support:
•Communicate clearly and professionally with internal teams and external customers.
•Spanish-speaking candidates preferred to support customer needs and provide inclusive service.
Collaboration & Support:
•Participate in training and development programs to stay current on products and industry trends.
•Work in collaboration with branch managers and sales leadership to execute marketing and sales initiatives.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of relevant sales experience, or 5+ years of sales experience in lieu of degree.
•Roofing, construction supply, or building materials experience preferred.
•Bilingual in Spanish (preferred, not required).
•Proven track record of successful account management or sales performance.
