Job Description
At Weatherford we are seeking a talented Sales Account Manager to join our dynamic team. As a Sales Account Manager, you will play a crucial role in building and nurturing strategic relationships with our valued clients. Your primary responsibilities will involve leveraging your customer relationships and industry knowledge to proactively sell solutions within our Weatherford Digital portfolio. You will work directly with customers both virtually and on-site to identify and progress sales opportunities, leveraging the expertise of Weatherford subject matter experts.
Responsibilities
Sales & Customer Relations•Own the entire customer sales lifecycle from opportunity identification to customer signature
•Understand customer needs and position our solutions effectively to key decision makers
•Visit customer worksites to ensure products meet expectations and build relationships
•Develop client-specific value propositions and identify opportunities for new solutions
•Propose solutions to clients formally through pitches, presentations, bids, and tender submissions, as well as informally through networks and discussions.
•Identify cross-selling opportunities across segments
Technical & Operational
•Maintain high-level product and operational knowledge
•Discuss technical specifications with clients and gather feedback
•Collaborate with internal resources to qualify and advance sales opportunities, solve customer issues and ensure service quality
•Maintain a clean and current sales pipeline using Salesforce.com
•Understand and mitigate business risks by working closely with your line manager.
•Use company technology tools effectively (Salesforce.com, FieldFX, Microsoft Office)
•Comply with all company policies
Required
QUALIFICATIONS
•6+ years of sales experience
•6+ years of experience with digital solutions (i.e. Software, Data, Edge, IOT, AI/ML, SAAS, Automation)
•Excellent written and oral communication skills.
•Ability to quickly gain a broad-based knowledge of our solutions and services.
Preferred
•10+ years of upstream or midstream oil & gas industry experience
Travel Requirement: ability to travel 10-25% of the time
Based in Houston Saint James Place office
