We are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a full time Safety & Compliance Manager. The ideal candidate will assist with Operations Management to ensure an efficient team environment, manage multiple priorities with emphasis on employee training and safety in the Propane and Fuel Oil Industry with approximately 65 employees. This position involves working in the office and time in the field.

Responsibilities:

Assist in all functions including but not limited to:

- Set up and coordinate monthly Safety meeting with Dept. specific managers.

- Keep Records up to date that is required to follow Regulations and Compliance.

- Keep up to date all Safety Data Sheets as required for compliance.

- Observe/walk-through of sites for inspection as required by regulations, keep records up to date on the corrective actions for any deficiencies.

- Inform management team of proposed safety recommendations.

- Conduct new hire safety orientations according to company policies.

- Coordinate & keep up to date on all employees' Educational & Safety training

- Keep up to date on required filings for licenses & permits as needed.

Qualifications:

· Fuel and Propane industry experience a plus.

· Experience with safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state and federal rules and regulations including Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and Department of Transportation (DOT).

· Must be able to navigate thru computer systems and online portals for training and compliance.

· Ability to work safely and independently, be self-motivated and detail oriented.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.

Have a Current Drivers License as there will be some travel between Company Offices/Sites.

Main Work Place will be Located at the Mechanicville Office.

Physical Requirements:

· Use all limbs and make a variety of movements (push/pull/bend/twist) to move heavy and bulky merchandise that may weigh up to 30 pounds (unassisted).

· Possess accurate depth perception, visual focus, field of vision, and color vision.

· Drive a personal or work vehicle.

Pay and Benefits:

Job Type: Full-time 40-50 hours depending on time of heating season

· Annual salary of $60k to $70k depending on qualifications and experience.
