Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Safety Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring a safe working environment on oilfield construction sites by implementing safety protocols and compliance measures. This position requires a strong understanding of environmental health and safety (EHS) regulations. The Safety Advisor will work closely with project managers and site personnel to promote a culture of safety and compliance.
Responsibilities
•Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs in accordance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
•Conduct regular inspections of job sites to identify hazards and ensure compliance with safety standards.
•Provide training for employees on safety practices, emergency procedures, and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
•Collaborate with project managers to assess risks associated with construction activities and develop mitigation strategies.
•Maintain records of incidents, accidents, and safety audits; prepare reports for management review.
•Stay current on industry regulations, including NEC standards, workers' compensation laws, and compliance management practices.
•Assist in the development of safety policies that align with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
•Foster a culture of safety awareness among all employees through effective communication and engagement.
Requirements
•Proven experience in a safety role within the oilfield industry.
•Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, EHS practices, and risk management principles.
•Familiarity with construction management software to track compliance and safety metrics.
•Excellent communication skills to effectively convey safety information to diverse audiences.
•Ability to analyze data related to incidents and develop actionable recommendations for improvement.
•Certification in safety management or related field is preferred but not mandatory.
•Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documenting processes and incidents.
•Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
