Role Summary
The Safety Administrator plays a key role in supporting Gridworks Energy safety programs and compliance efforts. This is an ideal entry-level position for someone who is detail-oriented, highly organized, and eager to contribute to a safety-first culture. This role involves both office-based administrative tasks and field-related responsibilities.

You will be responsible for the following
•Assist with the onboarding of new hires by preparing materials and verifying certifications.
•Support safety orientation sessions by presenting information and helping new employees understand company expectations and procedures.
•Help maintain safety records such as hazard assessments, inspection forms, and training logs with oversight from the safety team.
•Track employee certifications and training schedules to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
•Help coordinate safety training sessions, booking times, managing attendance, and distributing materials.
•Conduct field visits with senior safety staff to monitor compliance and support proactive safety engagement.
•Contribute to incident documentation by gathering information and assisting with reports.
•Input safety data and assist with reporting for internal tracking and compliance.
•Act as a point of contact for issuing personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining inventory of safety supplies.
•Ensure our COR certification is in good standing.
•Take required courses as needed.
Qualifications
•1–3 years of experience in a safety, administrative, or construction support role.
•ACSA Health & Safety Administrator (or willingness to train and take courses)
•Strong proficiency with Google Suite, Excel, Word, and Outlook Mac OS
•Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
•Comfortable working in both office and field settings.
•Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with diverse teams.
•Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
•Certifications such as CSTS, First Aid/CPR, Fall Protection and Confined Space are considered assets.
