We currently operate three core gathering & processing systems across the Texas Panhandle (Rock Creek), central Kansas (Peak-Otis & West Wichita), and Chaves County, New Mexico (Roswell).

What You Will Be Responsible For

· Manage and build work plans that involve contract help, safety equipment, cranes, and materials

· Use hand-welding or flame-cutting equipment to weld or join metals components, or to fill holes, indentations, or seams of fabricated metal products or pipe. Read a Weld Procedure Specification (WPS) to produce a weld according to the requirements of the procedure.

· Weld components in flat, vertical or overhead positions. Ignite torches or start power suppliers and strike arcs by touching electrodes to metals being welded, completing electrical circuits.

· Fabricate and construct piping segments and attach fittings that require field fit-up, erection and assembly.

· Clamp, hold, tack-weld, heat-bend, grind or bolt component parts to obtain required configurations and positions for welding.

· Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective materials and notify supervisors. Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments, using processes such as gas tungsten arc, gas metal arc, flux-cored arc, plasma arc, shielded metal arc, resistance welding and submerged arc welding.

· Monitor the fitting, burning and welding processes to avoid overheating of parts or warping, shrinking, distortion or expansion of material.

· Examine work pieces for defects and measure work pieces to ensure conformance with specifications. Recognize, set-up and operate hand and power tools common to the welding trade, such as shielded metal arc and gas metal arc welding equipment.

· Read Drawings; Isometric, Piping and Structure.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Basic knowledge welding equipment

· Min of 1 yrs experience structure or pipe joint welding

· Work in excavations dug by excavating equipment (Backhoes, Trackhoes, ect.); Pipeline repair activity.

· Live or be willing to relocate to within 35 miles of reporting location

· Able to work extended hours & call-outs as needed

· Experience with confined space welding with use of respirator

· Knowledge of fabrication Isometric, Piping and Structure.

Pay: $40.00 - $45.00 per hour
