Reliability Parts Coordinator

5x2, 4x3 9hr Shifts
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
The Reliability Parts Coordinator makes a direct contribution to important mobile maintenance goals of increasing labor productivity, reducing maintenance costs and improving equipment reliability. This is accomplished by researching, expediting and coordinating distribution of resources between the Maintenance Reliability/Planning group and the Warehouse/Purchasing group.
•The Reliability Coordinator responsibilities include identifying and coordinating with the maintenance parts coordinator group to coordinate resource requirements for scheduled work.
•Work with the Purchasing and Warehouse group to help maintain inventory control and stocking levels to meet the demands of both the predictive/preventative and planned maintenance programs.
•Will be responsible for the monitoring, tracking and execution of offsite work in coordination with the parts coordinator group.
•Must display a positive attitude toward work, be a team player, and can juggle competing priorities.
•Review accuracy of backlog requests to support planning and reliability team. Understand existing backlog and manage WO cleanliness within the system
•Determine necessary resources needed to complete tasks identified from backlog and work requests in coordination with the parts coordinator group.
•Review scheduled work and ensure resources are available for successful execution of work.
•Enter pre operation inspection WOs to fleets and report to planner groups on creation of these WOs.
•Monitor appropriate paperwork completion before it gets to the planning group.
•Manage Equipment additions, transfers, decommissions
•Plan equipment standardized labelling and ensure execution team can implement.
•Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
•Leadership qualities including: character, teamwork, communication, business sense, and vision.
•Strong computer skills including Word, Excel and Power Point.
•Planning software and JD Edwards experience.
Education & Experience
•Engineering Degree/Trade School/combination of equivalent related field education and/or experience as a mechanic, supervisor, or preferably experienced on mobile diesel equipment.
