Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable , Highly organized and detail oriented Materials & parts coordinator to support our oil & gas field operations through end-to-end coordination of parts sourcing, materials management, procurement, inventory control and logistics. This role ensures operational continuity by aligning field maintenance and warehouse needs with timely, cost effective delivery of equipment, tools and consumables. The successful candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with operations, maintenance, procurement and HSE teams while ensuring compliance, efficiency, and safety in all materials handling and supply chain processes.
Duties
•Source, order and track delivery of equipment, tools, and parts for field & maintenance operations.
•Maintain an organized inventory of parts, ensuring stock levels are adequate.
•Utilize Excel to manage inventory data and track sales trends.
•Maintain accurate records of parts & inventory usage, stock levels & reordering needs using internal systems & Excel.
•Negotiate with suppliers to obtain the best prices for parts.
•Receive , inspect & store incoming shipments ensuring documentation accuracy & handling protocols.
•Ensure all parts are properly labeled and stored for easy access.
•Collaborate with service technicians to understand their parts requirements for vehicle maintenance.
•must be able to lift & move heavy items , work in an office , warehouse and outdoor field environments.
•some travel to field sites, warehouses and vendor locations may be required.
Experience
•3 to 5 years of experience in inventory coordination, materials management or supply chain roles within Oil & gas and heavy industrial environments.
•Familiarity with vehicle maintenance and repair processes is a plus.
•Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
•Proficiency in Excel and retail math to analyze inventory data and sales performance.
•Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with customers and team members.
