In this role, you will be essential in delivering outstanding customer service while managing parts and service transactions.
•Identify customer needs. Search for customer parts using parts catalog.
•Create, fill out, and close work orders for customers and internal tickets
•Ensure all necessary warranty information is collected for Service claims
•Ensure the service technician has proper supplies and parts to complete their work orders
•Place daily customer and service department parts orders.
•Stock and receive incoming parts orders.
•Assist in processing weekly stock orders.
•Notify customers when ordered parts arrive.
•Provide necessary information to the warranty department to allow prompt filing of parts warranties.
•Return parts as needed and remove from inventory after credit is received.
•Return cores to vendor in a timely manner and follow up for receipt of credit.
•Match purchase orders and invoices, approves, and forwards to accounting office.
•File company copies of parts counter invoices.
•Assist in preparing for and performing annual parts inventory.
•Assist with parts department telephone coverage.
•Keep parts area clean and uncluttered.
•Maintains professional appearance.
•Other tasks as assigned.
