The Regional Sales Representative is responsible for sales and the relationship with a particular customer or customers based on which client accounts they are assigned to. Regional Sales Representatives are assigned particular customer accounts in a specific region with the goal of using effective sales techniques and dedication to drive sustainable financial growth through boosting sales and forging strong relationships with customers.
- Works with ethics, honesty, values and integrity. Provides a position of professionalism to others.
- Drives revenue generation from field operations of accounts in assigned area.
- Develops a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
- Develops and maintains all client relations at field/operations level.
- Works with Corporate Sales Representatives to ensure complete account coverage.
- Conducts research to identify new markets and customer needs.
- Promotes the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
- Consults with Operations to understand all areas of customer service (i.e. billing, safety, etc.).
- Keeps records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
- Builds long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
- Completes all safety and equipment related trainings required on a monthly basis.
- Any other duty, responsibility or task as assigned by the supervisor.
- BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field required.
- Must have good driving record and be able to maintain insurability with Company insurance.
- Must have at least three (3) years of working experience as a business developer, account sales or a relevant role.
- Must be familiar with CRM - Customer Relationship Management
- Proven sales track record.
- Market knowledge.
- Communication and negotiation skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with co-workers, customers, clients and management.
- Requires a strong sense of time management and planning skills.
- Requires regular out-of-town travel for work related events.
- Must be able to work alone or lead a team as necessary.
- Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field
