Hi-Kalibre Equipment is looking to add a motivated, detail-orientated, and customer focused Regional Outside Sales Representative to work out of our Midland location (11601 Tower Road, Midland, TX, 79707).
The Regional Outside Sales Representative is a field-based role responsible for building strong customer relationships and growing accounts within an assigned territory through the promotion and sale of the company’s products. This role also includes hands-on warehouse responsibilities at our Midland, TX location, ensuring efficient logistics and top-tier customer service.
In this hybrid position, the representative will collaborate closely with customers, inside sales, engineering, and management teams to develop tailored solutions that meet client needs and drive business growth. The role also involves managing the flow of products through the warehouse with a high degree of accuracy, care, and timeliness. Warehouse management will take about 20% of the work week. The rest of the time will be spent on the road taking care of the current customer base and establishing new connections.

This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in sales who is ready to take ownership of a territory, foster long-term client relationships, and maintain a consistent presence in the field. Sound independent judgment in carrying out below responsibilities is a must.

- Develop and maintain customer relationships in the assigned region through on-going in-person visits.
- Promote and sale company products, identify opportunities to expand accounts and penetrate new markets.
- Provide timely field-level support for customer inquiries, complaints, and service-related requests.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales activity, and logistics in CRM systems.
- Keep management and sales team members informed of all relevant activity in the regional market.
- Represent the company in a professional manner always, showing an excellent sales aptitude along with the ability to learn and apply knowledge of the company’s products and services to provide solutions for customers.
- Execute timely preparation of all expense reports, sales reports and assigned projects.
- Travel extensively (50-75% of days) within assigned region, with flexibility to support other locations as needed.
- Any other sales related duties as directed by the management.
- Pick up and deliver customer products as needed, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional handling.
- Receive, prepare and coordinate transfer shipments, including completion of paperwork and verification of all serial or lot numbering and item counts.
- Perform pre-trip, enroute, and post-trip inspections on vehicle and load, ensuring safety and roadworthiness.
- Inform management of any accidents, traffic violations, and/or damage to the vehicles.
- Perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance of work area.
- Maintain clean and organized warehouse floor.
- Any other logistics related duties as directed by management.
- College Diploma or equivalent experience in sales, logistics, or customer service.
- 2 - 4 years of experience in a sales or field service role, preferably in oilfield or industrial sectors.
- Strong communication and relationship management skills for customer interactions.
- Self-starter; motivated, customer focused, and results driven.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, CRM, and Sales Order Entry software.
- Valid Class C driver’s license and clean driver’s abstract.
- Experience in logistics, warehouse, and/or field environments.
- Approximately 50-75% of days spent on the road
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects.
- Strong organizational, time management and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with the exploration industry, including rig owners and operators, is an asset.
- Experience in Epicor and Sales Force is an asset.
- Must be able to sit, drive and/or stand for extended periods of time.
- Able to lift and carry equipment.
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Training is required.
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Training is required.
- Forklift and Crane Trainings is required.
- Defensive Driving Training is required.
- HR/HSE Orientation is required.
