Refinery Grounds & Vegetation Crew – Ponca City, OKAt Lanracorp, we take pride in doing work the right way. Our teams focus on safety, teamwork, and quality, and we’re looking for dependable people to join our Ponca City, OK refinery crew.This position supports industrial grounds maintenance and vegetation control at a recurring refinery site in Ponca City, Oklahoma.

You will report directly to the Site Foreman.

Job Responsibilities

- Perform industrial grounds and vegetation maintenance (mowing, trimming, spraying)

- Operate and maintain equipment such as:

- Zero‑turn mowers

- Weed trimmers

- Leaf blowers

- Drive company vehicles as needed (valid driver’s license required)

- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance

- Follow safety procedures and job instructions

- Work independently or as part of a crew

- Work outdoors in varying terrain and weather conditions

Physical & Job Requirements

- Able to work 8–10 hour shifts outdoors

- Able to maintain balance on uneven terrain

- Able to safely operate equipment and remain alert around hazards

- Able to read, write, and follow instructions

- Able to communicate effectively with team members

Qualifications

All candidates must pass before their first day of work:

- Background check

- Motor vehicle record (MVR) check

- Fit‑for‑duty test

- Drug screen

Offers will be rescinded if requirements are not completed prior to start date.

Pay & Advancement

- $18 - $25 per hour, performance‑based

- Overtime paid for hours over 40 per week

- Opportunities for advancement based on performance, training, and certifications

Training

- On‑the‑job training provided

- Completion of required vegetation and equipment training (with licensed supervision)

- Additional equipment certifications may lead to advancement and higher pay

Work Schedule

- Monday–Thursday, 10‑hour shifts

- Fridays may be worked as make‑up days due to weather or workload

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
