The Recruiting Coordinator is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and works closely with HR Management in supporting the company. This position carries out responsibility in the following functional areas: employee relations, onboarding/processing, recruitment/employment.
The Recruiting Coordinator performs a wide range of duties including some or all of the following:
- Conducts processing effort for Field Construction Requisitions. Works alongside recruiter to ensure applicants arrive onsite in a timely manner.
- Processing applicants, Onboarding, safety training and background/Drug Screening, Badge Requests, as required for site facility entry.
- Maintain Personnel and Medical files for employees-
- Scan/upload employee records in employee files
- Upload medical records in employee medical files
- Send proper new hire documentation to Payroll on hire date.
- Complete I-9 and E-Verify as needed
- Other duties assigned by HR Manager and Director of Business Services

- Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience as HR Recruiter in Construction industry.
- Must have intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Suite- Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook
- Ability to establish priorities, manage multiple tasks and successfully meet deadlines
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and communications skills
- Professional appearance / Business casual
- Demonstrates attention to detail, professional attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Prior DISA & Safety Council set up experience a plus.
- Ability to work overtime as needed/requested by management/HR.

- Standard Hours: Monday-Friday 40 hour + (occasional weekends)- Hours may vary depending on project needs
- Range: Permanent – 90-day Probation
- Travel: Minimal (maximum of 10%)
- Sit for long periods of time
- Occasionally lift or move office products/supplies up to 35lbs.
