The Training Coordinator will support the delivery of high-impact apprenticeship and training programs across the organization. In this dynamic role, you’ll work closely with the Apprenticeship Program Manager and Learning and Development Manager to ensure our programs run smoothly and effectively. From coordinating schedules and tracking progress to supporting participants and facilitators, you’ll be at the heart of our learning initiatives—helping employees build skills, confidence, and careers.
You’ll be part of a team that gets things done, works with purpose, and takes pride in the results. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
- Coordinate Apprentice Enrollment and Progression: Register new apprentices via virtual, in-person, or phone communication; track and update apprentice hours, levels, and status changes in alignment with program standards.
- Manage Apprenticeship Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records for wage scales, training hours, instructor evaluations, and documentation required for audits and monthly good-standing reports.
- Support Audit and Grant Readiness: Assist in the accurate recording, review, and filing of apprenticeship-related training grants and invoices as they pertain to the apprenticeship program.
- Plan and Schedule Apprentice Training Sessions: Coordinate classroom setups, training calendars, and scheduling of instructors to support smooth delivery of all apprenticeship program activities.
- Evaluate and Improve Program Effectiveness: Distribute and analyze instructor evaluation forms, gather participant feedback, and contribute suggestions to improve content, scheduling, and delivery of apprenticeship training.
- Perform Additional Duties as Assigned: Provide supplemental support for any other tasks needed by the Apprenticeship Program Manager to ensure the success and compliance of the apprenticeship program.
You’re someone who shows up ready to work hard, learn fast, and contribute to a team that takes pride in doing things right. Successful candidates typically bring:
- Prior experience in construction training coordination, program administration, or a similar support role is required.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with the interpersonal skills necessary to work with apprentices, trainers, and apprenticeship program manager.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, prioritize effectively, and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and training schedules, including occasional nights and weekends.
- In Office in Goodhue 5 days a week with limited travel between the Eagan office and offsite training locations. May need to travel overnight to assist in delivering trainings.
- Training Knowledge - Familiarity with adult learning principles, training coordination techniques, and apprenticeship program structures is a plus.
- Associate’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.

The salary range for this position is $50,000 - $65,000 per year, which reflects a good-faith estimate based on market data and internal equity.
