Quality Technician

Tooele, Utah

is seeking a dependable, safety- and customer service-focused

Quality Technician

to join the team. This role will play a critical part in driving continuous improvement and ensuring the ongoing sustainment of the Quality Management System.

Responsibilities:

- Participate with internal quality control audits for ISO 9001-2015 conformance.

- Ensure that all internal and external quality and performance standards are met to required specifications.

- Complete routine testing on various steel products.

- Material testing for RCA Investigations and Material Trials.

- Responsible for properly documenting all performed tests and measurements.

- Identification and Quarantine of non-conforming products.

- Assist production with Scrap/Rework activities as needed.

- Adhere to plant 5S initiatives at workstation.

Requirements:

- Minimum High School Graduate or equivalent.

- 2-5 years in manufacturing environment, preferably related to steel.

- Minimum 2 years’ experience in Quality Control preferred.

- Experience in testing techniques and methods for steel quality control.

- Familiar with dimensional measurement tools.

- Internal Auditing experience.

- Computer skills – Testing Software / MS Word / Excel.

- Experience in electronic and hard copy document control.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as required.

- Scissor Lift experience preferred.

Details:

- This is a full-time, direct hire, 100% on-site position in a manufacturing facility in Tooele, Utah.

- Schedule: Days, Monday - Friday; OT may be required.
