We’re looking for a Quality Intern that will support the development, formatting, and standardization of enterprise documentation within the RMS Operating System (RMS OS).This role demands exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and technical proficiency in Microsoft Office to ensure policies, procedures, charters, process maps, and executive materials are aligned with approved templates and governance standards. The intern plays a critical support role in maintaining a scalable, audit-ready documentation structure as the organization continues to grow.
- Format policies, SOPs, work instructions, charters, and supporting documents using approved company templates.
- Standardize fonts, spacing, headers/footers, numbering, tables, and revision control sections to align with enterprise documentation standards.
- Convert draft content (email notes, PowerPoint slides, outlines, meeting summaries) into properly formatted Word documents.
- Apply document naming conventions and version control standards prior to system upload.
- Prepare documents for upload into the document control system ensuring required fields and metadata are completed accurately.
- Perform formatting quality checks on existing documentation and correct inconsistencies.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining centralized documentation libraries.
- Convert written process outlines into basic process flow diagrams (Visio or equivalent) following provided standards.
- Support executive presentation clean-up, including slide formatting, alignment, and visual consistency.
- Track document status and maintain simple logs for review, approval, and publication cycles.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of internal governance, compliance, and strategic materials.
- Assume other duties as assigned.- 5+ years of field leadership experience in substation or bus installation
- Strong working knowledge of OSHA regulations, PPE protocols, and jobsite safety
- Skilled in industrial rigging and equipment handling in high-voltage environments
- Ability to interpret and execute complex installation plans and blueprints
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word for field documentation
- Familiarity with MV and HV equipment and related safety standards
- Ability to travel up to 10% throughout the continental USA, reflecting flexibility and commitment to project needs.
- Ability to pass a stringent drug screening and background check, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and policies.
- Hold a valid and current driver's license.
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an accredited undergraduate program in Business, Engineering, Operations, Communications, or related field.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, including structured document formatting (headings, numbering, tables, headers/footers).
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify formatting inconsistencies.
- Strong written communication skills and ability to follow defined standards precisely.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a structured environment.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with a strong customer focus and the ability to effectively convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills, demonstrating a capacity for managing multiple priorities and driving project success.
