Project Manager
Location: Upland, CA (with regular travel to our Long Beach office)
City Light & Power (CLP) is a company at the forefront of the modern-day electric utility industry. We are a Subcontractor for a major utility provider in southern California.
We are currently seeking a highly organized, driven, and adaptable Project Manager to oversee high-volume operations supporting our Southern California Edison (SCE) work. This is a fast-paced, dynamic leadership role managing a small but vital team responsible for scheduling data entry, and reporting.
Duties and Responsibilities:
•Lead weekly internal tactical meetings to review three-week lookahead schedules and align departmental priorities.
•Facilitate bi-weekly tactical meetings with SCE, reporting on project status, issues, and high-visibility work.
•Maintain accurate project status updates within internal databases, including schedule updates, completions, and progress comments.
•Oversee the timely and accurate input of work order completions and unit data in internal database
•Ensure compliance with SCE reporting requirements, including timely tasking and closeout within FMP 360 (48-hour standard).
•Manage and mentor department personnel: two Scheduling Analysts, one SCE Admin, and one Data Entry Clerk.
•Monitor workflow, balance workloads, and ensure project documentation is entered and disseminated appropriately.
•Track deliverables, support interdepartmental collaboration, and resolve reporting or data discrepancies.
•Drive internal accountability for deadlines and quality expectations across all reporting and scheduling efforts.

Skills and Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in project management, business, construction management, or related field, or a minimum of five (5) years of relevant project management experience.
•Strong understanding of work order management and scheduling systems; experience with SCE platforms (Click Schedule and FMP 360) highly preferred.
•Proven ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure with a high degree of accuracy and professionalism.
•Must possess experience in understanding blueprints, specifications, proposals, and other documentation to view labor estimates for projects and services.
•Ability to prepare construction schedules.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
•Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook); database management experience required.
•Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
•Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times.
Travel:
•Travel between job sites expected: Upland and Long Beach offices.
Work Authorization/Security Clearance:
•You must be a US Citizen.
•You will be required to obtain Utility Provider Security Clearance for this position.
•Valid driver’s license required with a record that meets the CLP Fleet Policy.

•Salary: range: $95,000 - $115,000/annually
