Project Manager, Senior - Nuclear

Opportunity Overview:

Project Manager, Senior – Nuclear is an onsite base in Palo, IA. Per diem is available. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) You will manage the completion of projects that support nuclear goals. You will lead projects that vary with regard to resource requirements, functional interaction, direction, scope, and timeframe. Individuals maintain project momentum, surface problems and recommendations, report completion status, and control costs to budget. You will report to the onsite Manager.

Your Day-to-Day:

- You will manage projects to ensure completion by schedule date

- You will create plans, cost analysis, schedules, estimations, and report to communicate project deliverables and status of completion

- You will coordinate engineering, construction and other functional resources to complete project goals

- Lead and coaches schedulers, cost engineers and estimators regarding project significance

- You will manage all site-related project controls and systems to support project development tasks

- Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned

- You will maintain project momentum, surface problems and recommendations, report completion status, and control costs to budget.

Who You Are:

- High School Grad / GED

- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

- Experience: 10+ years - Supervisor/Management Experience: 5+ years - Nuclear Experience: 5+ years - We prefer a Project Management Professional (PMP).

Nuclear Specific Requirements:

- Bachelor's in Engineering, Business, or technical discipline and 5+ years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction in either the nuclear or fossil industry - In absence of degree: 10+ years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction in either the nuclear or fossil industry

We are committed to transparency and equity in all our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $117.00/hr. to $122.00/hr.
