Project Manager, Sr – Nuclear

We are searching for a Project Manager, Sr – Nuclear on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment.(W-2) This person is responsible for the completion of projects that support nuclear objectives. Employees in this role may lead or support projects that vary with regard to resource requirements, functional interaction, direction, scope, and timeframe. Individuals maintain project momentum, surface problems and recommendations, report completion status, and control costs to budget.

Location: Palo, IA, per diem available

- 1-year contract assignment.(W-2)

Job Duties & Responsibilities

- Leads projects to ensure completion by schedule date

- Creates plans, cost analysis, schedules, estimations, and reports to communicate project deliverables and status of completion

- Coordinates engineering, construction and other functional resources to complete project objectives

- Lead and coache schedulers, cost engineers and estimators regarding project significance

- Manages all site-related project controls and systems to support project development tasks

- Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

- High School Grad / GED

- Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience

- Experience: 10+ years - Supervisor/Management Experience: 5+ years

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's Degree, Bachelor's – Sciences Bachelor's - Engineering - Nuclear Experience: 5+ years - Project Management Professional (PMP)

Special Requirements

Nuclear Specific Requirements:

- Bachelor's in engineering, Business, or technical discipline and 5+ years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction in either the nuclear or fossil industry - In absence of degree: 10+ years of experience in project management, engineering, or construction in either the nuclear or fossil industry

- Experience with estimating systems

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $66.00/hr. to $71.00/hr.
