Position Title: Project Manager Location: Markham, ON Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Position, On-site Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000

This is a full-time on-site role for a Project Manager based in Markham, ON. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating project activities, managing logistics, expediting processes, conducting inspections, and ensuring timely delivery of project components. The Project Manager will communicate with clients, vendors, and team members to keep projects on track and within budget.
- Develop detailed work plans, define objectives, and determine evaluation measures for project success.
- Estimate and allocate resources (time, budget, equipment) required for project completion.
- Structure, schedule, and support the project team to meet field requirements, performance expectations, and budget targets.
- Liaise with clients, vendors, and team members to coordinate daily operations and maintain project alignment.
- Attend client meetings and provide milestone updates, budgetary estimates, and status reports.
- Ability to anticipate and resolve client problems/issues
- Prepare and process invoices, progress claims, and project budgets.
- Complete subcontractor RFPs, evaluate bids, negotiate pricing, and ensure compliance with procurement procedures.
- Ensure project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Regularly review completed work with the team and respond promptly to project issues.
- Follow internal and external change management procedures to document project changes.
- Identify learning opportunities from completed projects and recommend improvements to current processes.
- Promote a positive team culture, uphold company policies and procedures, and contribute to their ongoing development.
- Provide input on labour needs to support project and branch operations.
- Lead generation of new proposals for clients.
- Review the scope of work documents and collaborate with engineering to define the project scope.
- Estimating project hours and costs based on previous similar work.
- Facilitating internal approvals from sponsors and stakeholders.
- Post-secondary education
- 4 or more years planning and/or project management experience
- Knowledge of project management (PMP is an asset)
- Knowledge of PMI standards and practices
- Excellent computer skills (Office 365, particularly MS Teams, Excel, Word, MS Project and Sharepoint)
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably Pronto, would be considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- French proficiency considered an asset but not required
