As a Specialty drilling company Foundex requires a Project Manager whose duties should consist of the following in areas of estimating, directing, coordinating, and budgeting through supervisory personnel. Also participating in the conceptual development of a drilling project and overseeing its initial proposal, organization, scheduling, and implementation and billings.
- Plan, organize, and direct activities concerned with the implementation of the drilling project
- Assist in preparing and submitting budget estimates and cost tracking reports
- Confer with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss matters such as work procedures, scheduling problems and invoicing logistics
- Ability to develop processes and articulate within the project organization
- Ability to quickly assimilate new data, including highly technical information
- Study job specifications to determine appropriate methods
- Attending site visits and bid meetings
- Blueprint takeoffs and tender document reviews
- Writing and assembly of proposals/tenders for various clients
- Prepare contracts and assist in negotiating revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with consultants, clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Schedule the project in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines
- Prepared weekly summary reports and invoices for clients,
- Take actions to deal with the results of delays, bad weather, or emergencies at construction site
- Self-starter, who identifies priority tasks, puts plans to complete and delivers
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with a variety of personal, and other industry participants, both external and internal
- Advanced verbal and written communication skills required to effectively interact with a variety of industry personnel.
- Skilled in the use of geotechnical design tools and software
- Strong ability to use Microsoft applications such as Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, and PowerPoint
- Willing to travel when required.
