The Project Manager (PM) leads the first phase of tangible production for steel projects by developing a comprehensive plan covering material procurement, production scheduling, and installation forecasting, while coordinating with the Field Manager on installation readiness (no field crew supervision). The PM creates and maintains production documentation, aligns equipment assignments, schedules transport, and monitors shop logistics. As the fabrication lead, the PM partners with the shop team to track progress, costs, quality, and overall efficiency to deliver on time and within budget, meeting profitability targets. The PM serves as the primary customer point of contact, coordinating with site superintendents to align installation goals, and facilitates team evaluations and monthly performance meetings.
