Project Manager

, you will lead the execution of utility scale PV Solar from pre-construction to completion. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership abilities, enabling them to effectively guide and manage teams to achieve successful project outcomes within a construction setting. This position requires a proven track record in managing EPC projects and/or experience overseeing large-scale industrial or infrastructure projects.

This is a remote role that requires travel to field construction project sites at a frequency between 50% - 75% dependent on project need. Our Team

DEPCOM’s Project Delivery Organization specializes in executing comprehensive, turnkey PV, BESS, and Repower projects, complete with collection substations and generation transmission lines. We leverage strategic partnerships with key vendors and subcontractors, ensuring seamless coordination with interconnection utilities nationwide. What You Will Do

- Manage direct reports and oversee a team which includes a Project Engineer, Construction Management, and their direct reports, while applying our Principle Based Management Philosophy to support teams on utility scale solar projects.

- Lead project forecasting in collaboration with the Project Controls team, ensuring accuracy and transparency through the proactive identification of risks and opportunities.

- Develop strong customer relationships and identify strategic opportunities that foster long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Supply Chain – including logistics, rentals, and procurement – to optimize value from the RFP and bidding phase through project completion.

- Partner with Business Development and Estimating to produce accurate, competitive project estimates and ensure execution aligns with EPC scope and strategy.

- Oversee project scheduling with support from the Scheduling team, ensuring alignment with key milestones and driving to meet or exceed project objectives.

- Deliver timely and comprehensive project updates to all stakeholders, including internal teams, customers, subcontractors, and vendors.

- Ensure project compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements by leveraging internal subject matter experts and support functions.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

- Demonstrated leadership experience managing multi-faceted teams across diverse scopes of work

- Experience managing EPC in the utility scale solar industry, large-scale industrial, or large-scale infrastructure projects

- Proficient in cost estimating, schedule management, and customer engagement

- Solid understanding of prime contract and subcontract terms and conditions

- Valid driver’s license

- Ability to travel 50-75% of the time to field construction sites and customer locations based on project needs

- This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship

What Will Put You Ahead

- EPC experience in utility-scale solar, wind, battery energy storage systems (BESS), conventional power, or large-scale industrial projects

- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Business

For this role, we anticipate paying $150,000 - $180,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
