As a member of our industrial mechanics team, you’ll lead mid-sized projects for studies and detailed engineering mandates in the heavy-industry and energy sectors.
Your role as project manager will be to coordinate with the various project stakeholders to support the delivery of multidisciplinary engineering for a range of industrial applications. You’ll work with a dynamic team and be encouraged to share your technical and project-management knowledge.
You’ll also play an active role in identifying business opportunities with our clients and help draft winning proposals. You’ll help develop the firm by maintaining business relationships with internal and external clients.

- Lead work delivery for studies and detailed engineering mandates for various industrial projects (mono and multidisciplinary)
- Establish budgets and schedules and ensure staff engagement
- Share project objectives with your team
- Oversee the quality of deliverables, costs, schedules as well as health and safety
- Check performance indicators and share results with clients monthly
- Mentor project leaders to achieve objectives
- Manage client expectations and ensure their satisfaction
- Present change notices to clients and define additional mandates with them

- University degree in mechanical or industrial engineering and a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
- About 12 years of relevant experience in the field
- Experience leading mechanical projects in the industrial sector
- Available for short-term work assignments outside the office
- Relevant experience in project management and technical report writing
- Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
- Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
