Description of role:

NCT Technologies Group is currently seeking an engineer/project manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has experience in project management, basic CAD and SolidWorks skills, leadership mentality and is able to work independently without much supervision. Your activity will include evaluating designs from our customers and determining the most efficient manufacturing methods to produce the product. The projects are typically received with quick timelines; attention to detail, drawing speed and accuracy are required.

Engineer/Project Manager Skills and Requirements:

- Manage projects, from start to finish, that are multi-faceted, high volume and with a tight timeline

- Set up or improve manufacturing processes

- Read and understand drawings, including dimensional and weld requirements

- Design fixtures and assembly aids to improve process efficiency and quality of the product (Solidworks experience is a plus)

- Support quality initiatives and complete critical first article inspections

- Able to use measuring devices (tape measure, calipers, etc)

- Able to be cross-functional to support workload

- Able to be self-sufficient once trained

- Mechanically inclined

- Valid driver’s license required

Items below are a plus:

- Assemble drawing packages for plant personnel

- Able to learn/use industrial equipment (laser, saw, press brakes, machining, etc.)

- Able to set-up and operate metal fabrication equipment

- Ability to adapt and learn other software, such as specific equipment software is also preferred

- Laser program, machine program, press brake set-up

Work Schedule:

Full time

Engineer/Project Coordinator Salary:

$65k-85k (Based on experience)
