Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager specializing in EPC Solar Construction to lead and oversee large-scale solar projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong construction management skills, extensive knowledge of project scheduling and coordination, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. This role offers an opportunity to manage complex projects, ensure timely delivery, and collaborate with diverse teams to advance renewable energy initiatives.
- Lead the planning, execution, and closing of EPC solar construction projects, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using MS Project.
- Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate seamless project execution.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards.
- Manage procurement processes including construction estimating and analysis to optimize project costs.
- Monitor project progress through site visits, inspections, and regular reporting; address any issues proactively.
- Oversee safety protocols on-site to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Ensure timely submission of progress reports, change orders, and documentation required for project milestones.
- Facilitate communication across teams to promote collaboration and resolve conflicts efficiently.
- Prepare and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow.
- Track project profitability and report financial status to leadership.
- Proven experience in construction management (renewable energy or solar industry a plus).
- Strong proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project.
- Expertise in project scheduling, site coordination, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and contract administration.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Solid understanding of construction estimating processes and civil/site work requirements.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Knowledge of safety standards and protocols relevant to construction sites.
- PMP certification or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
