is a growing independent renewable energy producer (
IPP
) with presence in Europe, United States and Latin America with more than 19 years’ experience. The company develops, builds, finances, manages and operates high quality renewable energy projects in several countries, with a portfolio of 2,6 GW (1,3 operational and + 1,3 ready to build / under construction) assets in operations and construction, whole portfolio under development sums up to over 18 GW.
We are currently looking for a
Project Manager
to join our USA team.
Key Responsibilities:
•Coordinate with engineering and construction teams to ensure project milestones are achieved.
•Supervise all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with design, safety, and quality standards.
•Ensure adherence to all contractual requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
•Participate in EPC project bidding processes, contract negotiation, and contract closing.
•Monitor and evaluate contractor and subcontractor performance against contractual obligations.
•Conduct regular site inspections and proactively resolve issues as they arise.
•Guarantee compliance with local and international safety regulations.
•Control budgets and manage construction-related cash flows.
•Provide regular progress reports to Construction Management in the USA and Headquarters in Spain.
•Support the development department with technical evaluations and recommendations.
•Promote and maintain a strong safety culture among all stakeholders.
•Identify project risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications and/or post-graduate training is a Plus.
•3–5 years of experience in the photovoltaic (PV), wind and BESS sector in a similar role within the U.S.
•Previous experience with energy tendering processes, leadership of construction teams, and involvement in wind or energy storage projects.
•Proficiency in MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office..
•Familiarity with project management tools and construction-related software.
•Spanish proficiency highly desirable.
Other Requirements:
•U.S. citizenship or legal work authorization.
•Willingness to travel to construction sites across the U.S.
•Knowledge of the renewable energy market and standards.
