Koala Insulation of Boulder is a trusted and growing leader in energy-efficient insulation solutions. We serve both residential and commercial clients with high-quality installation of batt, blown-in, spray foam, air sealing, fire blocking, vinyl blanket, and other insulation products.
We are seeking a disciplined, organized, and highly communicative individual to join our team as an Insulation Project Manager. This is a key operational role — ideal for someone with deep familiarity with the trades or construction world who wants to take on more responsibility. For the right candidate, this role can evolve into a General Manager position, but only after consistently delivering exceptional results.
Location: Denver, CO
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $60,000–$90,000+ (base salary + bonus based on profitability)
Application Instructions: Apply here or send an email with your resume to info@fortcomfortservices.com
Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities
•Schedule & Team Coordination: Manage daily and weekly job schedules. Ensure subcontractors and full-time teams have the right information, materials, and expectations to execute work on time and to standard.
•Material & Inventory Management: Order materials strategically based on scope and timing — balancing cost, lead time, and inventory levels. Maintain clean, organized records of stock and minimize waste and eliminate overbuying.
•Customer Service & Job Readiness: Perform job walks before installation to verify scope and ensure nothing is missed. Handle callbacks or service issues with professionalism and urgency.
•Communication & Documentation: Maintain consistent and clear communication with customers, internal staff, and subcontractors. Ensure all project documentation is complete and up-to-date.
•Operational Efficiency: Look for ways to optimize team workflows, reduce inefficiencies, and proactively prevent problems before they occur.
•Leadership Opportunity: Over time, demonstrate the capability to manage broader operational elements, mentor others, hire and build teams, and drive company growth.
What We’re Looking For
•Trade/Construction Knowledge: 3+ years of experience in construction or related project management roles. Understanding of residential and commercial jobsite dynamics, especially insulation installations.
•Extreme Organization: You buy into systems, or help to improve them. You use them. You stay ahead of problems instead of reacting to them.
•Strong Communication: You keep everyone in the loop — customers, crews, vendors, and office staff. You’re clear, timely, and professional.
•Strategic Execution: You know how to get things done efficiently, with minimal hand-holding. You think through problems before they happen and act accordingly.
•Low-Ego, High-Performance: You’re not here to be in charge on Day 1. You're here to earn responsibility by solving real problems and driving profitability.
•Bonus: Bilingual (Spanish), familiarity with insulation types and accessories, experience with CRMs, Sharepoint, Microsoft Teams, etc.
You’ll Thrive Here If You:
•Are a former foreman, supervisor, or crew leader looking to grow into a leadership role where if you do your job well, you never have to use a hammer or drill.
•Prefer a structured, disciplined environment where communication and planning are the keys to success.
•Take ownership over your work and care about quality — from materials to schedules to people.
•Want to grow into a leadership role but are willing to earn it through results, not just experience.
Compensation & Perks
•Salary: $60,000–$90,000+ (Base + Profitability-Based Bonus)
•Advancement: Clear path to a General Manager position for those who consistently execute
•Diverse Projects: Manage a variety of installations across insulation types and customer types
•Company Culture: Work with a small, committed team focused on integrity, accountability, and continuous improvement
•Professional Development: We invest in the growth of the right people with leadership potential
•Company Truck & gas card: To be used for work related travel around the state of Colorado.
