Project Controls Intern Summer 2026

As a Project Controls intern you will assist the project engineers and project controllers on the portfolio of projects.

You will report to the Project Controls LTO-ES Manager and be located at our Cranberry location. This internship is a paid full-time hybrid summer position.

- Initiate and plan all controls aspects of a project, which includes project baselines

- Apply tools and techniques to plan work such that inefficiencies are reduced, and overall project performance is optimized

- Responsible for all aspects of project controls activities including scope, schedule, cost, risk, and earned value assessment

- Close project by archiving work in financial, scheduling, document management, and resource management systems/tools

- Cultivate relationships with the team, customer, and other partners (e.g. internal management) to facilitate successful project completion

- Implement improvement opportunities which will add value

Qualifications:

- Pursuing bachelor's degree in project management, Engineering, or related technical discipline required

- Minimum GPA of 3.0

- Complete Sophomore year of college

- US Citizen or Permanent Resident

- Familiar with the Project Management Institute (PMI®)'s Project Management Body of Knowledge

- High-level technical knowledge of nuclear power plants

- No relocation assistance provided

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The hourly rate for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $22.69 to $27.50 per hour.
