The Production Specialist works under the general supervision of the Production Supervisor to deliver quality workmanship on custom fabrications, physical assembly, and wiring of utility control panels. They will assist with installation, testing, and validation of equipment at customer sites, remotely, and in a test environment.
Interpret, analyze and provide constructive feedback on all product designs and parts lists
- Gather parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials for fabrication
- Wire cutting, wire stripping, labeling, drilling, tapping, bolting according to specifications
- Assemble electrical components, fasten parts and sub-assemblies, pack, palletize, use forklift to load and unload pallets of equipment
- Will be trained to conduct power testing utilizing knowledge of voltage, amps, and loads
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, policies, and regulations
- Receive, inspect and shelf computer parts, work with computer applications to manage materials Assist with annual inventory audits
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet project timelines
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with various levels of management, staff, and clients.
- Maintain project and customer database utilizing software applications
- Represent the Trimark Associates Inc. brand to customers and vendors
- Respond to calls, emails, and messages promptly
High school diploma or equivalent required. At least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the utility or renewable energy industry. Proficiency in working with hand tools and assembly, semi-automatic equipment, pallet jack, forklift, and computer applications including MS Office and NetSuite ERP. Understanding of single-line diagrams and basic NEC codes. OSHA-10 certification preferred, Certified Forklift Operator, CPR & First Aid.
Employee may be required to sit for long periods of time using a keyboard and monitor display, travel to other locations, lift up to 40lbs, and push/pull up to 75lbs. Must be able to organize and prioritize work in accordance with deadlines, adapt behavior and work methods in response to changing conditions or challenges. Must be able to develop and maintain cooperative working relationships, act with professionalism, and work both independently and collaboratively.
The employee will primarily work in a climate-controlled warehouse and office facility with occasional fluctuations in temperature. The employee will work in the production facility at an assigned desk and at shared workstations under artificial lighting. The employee may occasionally attend meetings and/or training outside of their assigned workstation. Customer site work may include varying exposure to all types of weather, electricity, hazardous surfaces, ladders, heights, ditches, poor lighting, hostile and high crime areas. Employee will be required to perform some travel in a company vehicle.
