Summary
Hecla Mining Company is seeking a Procurement & Logistics Analyst to support the supply chain operations at our Keno Hill site in the Yukon. This role will play a key part in supporting the procurement team during the implementation of our new IFS Cloud ERP system and the rollout of updated corporate procurement policies.
Initially, the position will focus on procurement execution, supplier coordination, and RFQ management to support site operations. As the system and processes mature, the role will evolve to focus on logistics optimization, contract management, and cost-saving initiatives across the supply chain.

The Keno Hill mine, located within the Keno Hill Silver District in Canada’s Yukon Territory. Keno Hill, is one of the highest-grade silver districts in the world, is situated 350 kilometres north of Whitehorse, and lies within the traditional territory of the First Nation of Na-Cho Nyak Dun. It comprises 242 square kilometres (km2) with numerous mineral deposits and more than 35 historical past-producing mine sites. Keno Hill is expected to produce ~3.0 million ounces of silver in 2026 as the mine ramps up production.

Here’s What You Can Expect In This Role
Efficiently & effectively manage the purchasing cycle from needs assessment & RFQ through to invoicing.Negotiate competitive pricing as well as terms and conditions with vendors considering commercial and technical aspects.Generate comprehensive Purchase Orders for materials, equipment and services and communicate in a timely and professional manner to all key stakeholders as required. Proactively monitor open Purchase Orders ensuring deliverables are met and actively communicate updates to key stakeholders.Review supplier performance and track purchasing savings.Coordinate with vendors and logistics companies the timely shipment of priority orders to site in order to meet operational requirements.Investigate and resolve Purchase Order and invoicing discrepancies.Coach and mentor other employees regarding Supply Chain systems, policies and procedures.Manage key supplier relationships.Engage in Supply Chain continuous improvement.Practice and promote company environmental, health, safety, and operational policies and procedures.Other duties may be assigned.You will help to promote a strong environmental culture, promoting and teaching environmentally friendly values and work practices.You will help to foster a strong safety culture, promoting and exemplifying safe work practices throughout the organization.You will be a part of team you can rely on; a team that will have your back.
Qualifications/Skills
Minimum 3-5 years of related experience in purchasing, procurement, contracts and or inventory managementPost -secondary education in commerce, business administration or a related field.Related Professional Supply Chain certification (CSCP, SCMP) an asset.Advanced computer skills and knowledge of ERP systems (eMaint, IFS) as well as MS Office Suite.Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with others.Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Work Environment and Job Schedule
This is a Monday-Friday remote based position working from home with occasional travel to site. At site employees will be frequently exposed to; outside weather conditions, snow conditions; extreme cold, extreme heat, potentially hazardous wildlife; moving mechanical parts; high precarious places; fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock; explosives and vibration. The noise level in most work environments is occasionally loud.
