Powder Metallurgy Technician/Production Technician/Manufacturing Technician

We are currently seeking new talent to join our growing team.

This position requires physical work in an industrial setting wearing coveralls and a respirator the majority of the time. Steel toed boots are a requirement.

Job Description & Duties

The successful candidate will perform or assist with the following duties:

- Following the direction of the shift charge-hand and the technician/engineer responsible for the process

- Processing Materials

- Assisting R&D projects

- Cleaning work area and equipment

- Completing forms for material processing

- Operating various production equipment

-Following work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Steel toed boots are a requirement. All other personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respirators and coveralls will be provided.

Shifts -12.5 hour rotating shifts.

Salary - Starting at $49,275.00/year on 12.5 hour shifts.

Qualifications

Experience is not required. On the job training is provided. The ideal candidate will have the following characteristics:

- Strong analytical. organizational and problem solving skills

- A self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision

- Ability to complete tasks on time

- Ability to work in a collaborative environment and communicate with others

- Ability to lift 25 kg

- Must be willing to maintain a clean work area.

Additional qualities that would set you above the rest, but not required:

- Valid forklift certificate

-Valid first aid certificate

- Education or experience relating to material science, manufacturing technology, mining or mineral processing.
