Description of role:

NCT Technologies Group is currently seeking a Plant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of the operation, will be accountable for the facility, the equipment, managing the technical and shop team, all with a focus on meeting customer delivery and quality requirements. They will have experience in manufacturing, project management, engineering and managing people. Our customers have high demands with respect to quality and very tight timelines; attention to detail, acting fast, and being flexible with solutions are required.

Major Responsibilities:

- Manage 15-25 hourly shop Employees, Plant Leads, and Engineers across two shifts of production

- Generate and follow through with production plans to meet customer timelines

- Recognize misses in production schedule and adjust accordingly

- Set production and quality expectations for your team

- Plant cleanliness and organization

- Improve production efficiencies

- Develop and train employees

- Oversee the purchase of all necessary raw and consumable materials

- Lead the production of large, multifaceted projects

- Manage facility and equipment updates and improvements

- Coordinate delivery of customer product

- Grow existing customer relations

Characteristics needed to succeed as Plant Manager:

- 2-4 years’ experience in metal fabrication

- 2-4 years’ management experience

- Ability to creatively solve problems daily

- Ability to multi-task consistent interruptions and urgent demands

- Strong initiative and follow through

- Driven to find efficient processes and solutions

- Ability to be flexible and to act fast when supporting customers or working with the operations team

- Driven to create new opportunities

Work Schedule:

Full time

Plant Manager Salary:

$75k-100k (Based on experience) + Bonus Program
