As
Construction Manager III, you’ll be in the field, working onsite with the construction management and inspection teams and acting as a resource for colleagues with less experience. This role is critical in the planning, coordination and execution of natural gas pipeline projects, and safety is the highest priority.

Responsibilities/Expectations:
- Accountable for front end construction planning, estimate development and analysis and contract management
- Provides input in QA/QC staffing plans, construction cost/schedule management and liaison activities with stakeholders; proactively identifies and implements cost savings
- Provides input on contracting strategy and contractor qualification/selection
- Reviews contractor schedules, execution plans, and extra work claims
- Develops and manages construction progress reporting
- Performs audits of inspection processes and documentation requirements
- Assists in construction closeout; material management before, during, and after construction
- Provides onsite leadership to inspection team
- Works closely with Land, Regulatory, and Engineering teams to complete pipeline construction feasibility studies and determine routing for new pipelines
- Participates in the design process with Engineering and Operations teams
- Other duties as assigned
- Required: High School Diploma/GED, a minimum of six (6) years’ related experience and CCM (CMAA) Certification
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Science or Construction Management
Physical and Environment Work Requirements:
Must be able to:
- Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
- Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
- Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
- Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
- Use hand tools
- Must possess valid State Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
- Needs proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Application and PC skills
