Design Electric is seeking a Personnel Administrator for our St Cloud, MN location. It is the role of the Personnel Administrator to support the Payroll Specialist with accurate and timely processing of employee wages while assisting the Human Resources department with the recurring personnel needs.
o Assist Payroll Specialist with weekly Payroll; including verification of employee time entry
o Record payroll data in software systems and cross-check against timesheets and schedules
o Knowledge of Prevailing Wage & Certified Payroll preferred
o Identify and enter per diem payments to eligible employees weekly
o Review and approve employee expenses for reimbursement
o Assist Human Resources with onboarding and orientation
o Maintain employee records related to wages, benefits and deductions
o Perform backup duties to Payroll Specialist as needed for Certified Payroll Reports
o Prior experience in payroll processing or a similar role
o Must possess extreme attention to detail and the ability to problem solve
o Willingness to engage in team collaboration amongst the Payroll and HR departments
o Ability to stay up-to-date and relevant with employment laws and requirements
o Confidentiality and respect for the privacy of employee records
This full-time, in-person position is paid hourly. The conventional 40-hour workweek is structured as five eight-hour workdays, typically between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday through Friday.
Starting hourly rate is $22 - $26 depending on experience.
