Tundra is excited to announce an opportunity for an Administrative Supervisor, based out of our Winnipeg or Virden, MB, or Calgary, AB office.
In this role, you will lead and manage the administrative team, overseeing office operations, office leases, events, and key initiative. This role will ensure collaboration across all locations while supervising a team of administrative professionals to maintain smooth office functions and foster a positive workplace environment.

REPORTS TO: Executive Assistant
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
•Oversee Office Maintenance: Ensure all office spaces are well-maintained, addressing facility needs (janitorial, recycling and waste management) and coordinating with vendors for contracts, repairs or upgrades.
•Manage Office Leases: Handle all aspects of office lease management, including renewals, negotiations, and ensuring compliance with lease terms.
•Oversee Corporate and Social Events: Oversight of corporate and social events, organized by administrative team, ensuring focus is on fostering team engagement and strengthening workplace culture while aligning with company objectives. Ensure all events are managed within the allocated budget and adhere to specified timelines.
•Supervise Administrative Team: Lead and oversee a team of administrative professionals across multiple locations, providing guidance, support, and ensuring consistent performance.
•Track Administrative Expenses: Assist with budget planning, track administrative expenses, and approve invoices.
•Wellness and Engagement Initiatives: Active participant on the Wellness Committee assisting with promoting initiatives that enhance employee health and well-being
•United Way Initiative: Active participant on the United Way Corporate Campaign Committee assisting with driving participation and achieving campaign goals.
•Identify Efficiencies in Administrative Operations: Implement process improvements to enhance administrative operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functions across the organization.
•Manage Office Assignments: Oversee the allocation of office space, ensuring efficient use of resources and meeting the needs of employees.
•Engage in Committee Involvement: Actively participate in key committees including Health & Safety and Event Planning to support various organizational initiatives.
•Collaborate on Organizational Initiatives: Ensure smooth collaboration and alignment of all administrative and cross-functional initiatives.
•Serve as a Key Contact: Facilitate interdepartmental coordination and workflow management.
•Occasional inter-office travel will be required.
WHAT YOU NEED:
•Diploma or certificate in Administrative Support, Office Management, or similar discipline is required
•Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or a related field is preferred
•3 – 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience within office administration or facilities management
•Proficiency in office software, including Microsoft Office Suite and office management tools
•Excellent communication and organizational skills to effectively lead teams and coordinate company-wide initiative
•Experience with budget management for overseeing administrative, event, and office operation expenses
•Experience chairing or leading committees or corporate campaigns is considered an asset
