Responsibilities

- Prepare and submit permit applications for residential and commercial solar projects in accordance with local regulations.

- Coordinate with municipal agencies, utility companies, and regulatory bodies to facilitate permit approvals.

- Maintain detailed records of permit statuses, renewals, and compliance documentation.

- Review project plans to ensure adherence to safety standards such as OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) requirements.

- Assist in obtaining necessary environmental permits in compliance with EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) guidelines.

- Communicate effectively with project teams, clients, and permitting authorities to resolve issues promptly.

- Stay current on evolving permitting laws

Requirements

- Proven experience managing permitting processes for construction or renewable energy projects.

- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with regulatory agencies and internal teams.

- Ability to review technical project documents for compliance with safety and environmental standards.

- Familiarity with compliance management systems and documentation practices.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
