Payroll Specialist Location: [Tulsa] Full-Time | Pay Commensurate with Experience

Position Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Specialist to manage and process multi-state payroll from start to finish. This role plays a critical part in ensuring employees are compensated accurately, on time, and in compliance with company policies and government regulations.

What You'll Do:

- Execute daily payroll operations and ensure accurate, timely processing of payroll transactions

- Manage payroll workflow and reconcile payroll prior to transmission

- Validate and input all payroll entries accurately

- Interface with payroll/invoicing system (Intaact)

- Prepare and verify draft customer invoices weekly

- Coordinate with internal teams for invoice support and documentation

- Resolve payroll and invoice issues promptly and professionally

- Communicate with placed inspectors regarding payroll and invoicing inquiries

- Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with federal and state laws

- Perform other payroll and finance-related tasks as assigned

What You’ll Bring:

- 1+ year of experience processing multi-state payroll

- Solid understanding of payroll best practices, laws, and regulations

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook

- Experience with payroll software (Intaact a plus)

- High attention to detail, confidentiality, and organization

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
