- Expected to follow all safety rules and policies and work in a manner that protects themselves and other stakeholders from hazards and injuries.
- Maintain timekeeping system and system database.
- Review and audit payroll reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Verify accuracy of employee schedules, accruals, and other payroll items.
- Provide payroll information and general ledger entries to accounting.
- Complete requests for Verification of Employment.
- Coordinate work flow between payroll and Human Resources Department (HR).
- Confer with HR regarding union contract guidelines.
- Approve, edit, and maintain changes to employee direct deposit, tax withholding, and payroll deductions
- Provide payroll and attendance information to supervisors
- Interact with management information technology department (IT) to manage system updates and reliability.
- Other duties as assigned.
