Innovex is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced

Payroll Specialist

to join our team in Humble, Texas. This role is responsible for managing the full-cycle payroll process for employees across the United States and Canada. The Payroll Specialist ensures payroll is processed accurately, on time, and in compliance with all applicable regulations. This position requires strong collaboration with HR, Finance, and other internal partners, as well as a commitment to continuous process improvement.

What You’ll Do:

- Process and administer payroll for U.S. and Canadian employees, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local regulations.

- Reconcile payroll data, prepare reports, and support internal and external audits.

- Partner with HR and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth payroll operations.

- Monitor legislative changes affecting payroll compliance and ensure adherence to applicable laws.

- Contribute to payroll process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and accuracy.

What We’re Looking For

- 3+ years of payroll experience, including multi-state U.S. payroll; Canadian payroll experience strongly preferred.

- Solid understanding of payroll regulations, compliance requirements, and tax reporting in both countries.

- Experience with SAP SuccessFactors or similar HRIS/payroll systems preferred.

- Strong analytical skills, with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

- Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

- Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
