Packing Associate – 2nd Shift (Built-In Overtime) Location: Union, MO Schedule: Full-Time | 2nd Shift | Overtime during peak production on Fridays Shift Differential: +$2/hr for 2nd shift

About the Role:

Packing Associates are the last line of defense before our aluminum extrusions reach the customer. You’ll bundle, protect, and verify parts so they ship out safe, accurate, and on time from our extrusion, packing, or paint departments.

Work Schedule: (48-hour week)

- Monday–Thursday: 4:30 p.m. – 2:00 a.m.

- Friday: 4:30-12:00 am

What You’ll Do:

- Use proper packing materials and methods to securely bundle aluminum profiles.

- Inspect material for scratches, dents, twists, and other damage.

- Count parts and verify all information on routing tags.

- Log routing tag information accurately in the system.

- Verify critical dimensions per print on aluminum extrusions.

- Safely operate a forklift to move materials as needed.

- Follow instructions from the manager and lead, and communicate issues clearly.

- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE.

- Take ownership of customer needs and help resolve issues the right way.

Stay flexible and focused as priorities and production needs shift.

What You Bring:

- Ability to stand for long periods and bend at the waist.

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Basic computer and math skills.

- Ability to read micrometers, calipers, tape measures, and use small hand tools.

- Strong attendance, reliability, and attention to detail.

Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
