PACKER - 3rd Shift (8:30 p.m. - 5 a.m., Monday - Friday)

Market Leader in Aluminum Extrusion is seeking a dependable person to work in our Packing department. Able to stand for whole shift, lift 40+ pounds, and work in non-air conditioned environment. Must have good math and measuring skills. Valid driver's license is required to operate forklift. OT/Weekends are required during peak/busy time periods.

- Prepares and packs customer orders for shipment.

- Inspects metal and counts pieces.

- Packs metal according to printed customer specifications.

- Ensures correct count of pieces is displayed on packed bundles.

- Works in 2-person teams to handle heavy packing jobs.

- Maintains clean and orderly workplace.

- Observes safety rules and practices; reports any unsafe acts or conditions to supervisor.

Performance is measured against established productivity goals.
