Role

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of their designated areas. Achieving business goals and revenue targets, overseeing daily operations, managing budgets, and setting performance objectives, recruiting, training, supervising, and supporting the field service technicians of their designated territories.

The job duties herein describe essential functions of the position. Additionally, regular attendance and punctuality are essential to the success of the position. The individual should be able to perform these essential functions with or without requested reasonable accommodations.


Essential Functions

- Maintain and prepare the budget and P&L for your region

- Conduct monthly safety training and ensure field personnel stay current with safety requirements

- Manage field ticket entry to ensure that direct reports are getting tickets in on time

- Manage and approve expenses for direct reports

- Responsible for training new shop and field personnel

- Customer stock log- maintain log for equipment coming in and going out

- Sign off on POs for district, including supplies and maintenance

- Inventory management control, including all buy out items

- Promote and strictly adhere to all Company HSE policies and practices.

- Conduct all business activities in accordance with company code of conduct, policies and procedures and all applicable legal requirements.

- Perform other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.


Qualifications & Requirements

- At least 5 years experience in Oil and Gas Industry

- Strong data entry and reporting skills

- Ability to motivate others on a team and help them succeed

- Multitasking skills and the ability to tend to multiple problems at a time

- Problem-solving skills

- Strong knowledge of company policy, goals and standards

- Available after hours/weekends/holidays on periodic basis

- Demonstrated capacity to communicate and collaborate with diverse stakeholders (employees, clients, and vendors).

- Capable of making independent decisions on tasks that are part of the position's day-to-day activities.

- Understanding of how position and performance contribute to Company's success.


Work Environment & Physical Demands

- This position requires working in an office setting 90% of the time, and 10% in the field in all types of weather conditions. It requires working on rig sites where surface areas are often muddy or slippery. It also requires working around heavy machinery, mechanical equipment with moving parts and electrical equipment as well as exposure to loud noises and contaminants. The employee is regularly required to operate vehicles on company business and drive long distances on company business.
