EthosEnergy is currently seeking an Operations & Maintenance Coordinator for our Dover Plains, NY facility. The Operations & Maintenance Coordinator will report directly to the Maintenance Manager and with a dotted line to Plant and Operation Managers on a routine basis. The role of the O&M Coordinator is to improve work force productivity and work quality by anticipating and eliminating potential delays through planning and coordination of labor, parts and material, and equipment access.
Job Responsibilities
•Promote a safe working environment and ensure that all personnel and contractors follow plant and company safety procedures and policies.
•Maintain compliance with all Company, State, and Federal policies, procedures, regulations, and requirements.
•Support site staffing levels, rosters, annual and personnel leave ensuring planned work / maintenance and outage requirements are met.
•Coordinate with Plant Management, Operations, and Maintenance personnel in reviewing and planning of the daily preventive/corrective repair activities ensuring staffing is utilized efficiently, work is completed safely, efficiently, while ensuring plant reliability maintained.
•Review work requests on a daily basis and establish priorities to serve as a guideline for planned job packages for recurring jobs, plus labor and material libraries for each asset and associated equipment development and subsequent work order scheduling and completion.
•Develop work order packages in preparation for scheduling and assignment of work. Work order packages are to include necessary drawings, equipment instructions, procedures, work scope documents, material lists, tooling, and equipment lists.
•Coordinate with Plant Management, Operations, and Maintenance personnel in the planning and scheduling of major project outages and provide priority lists for shadow maintenance. Utilize Microsoft Project to create detailed plans and schedules that include appropriate activities and resource assignments. Monitor project progress and provide appropriate updates of schedule and completion status.
•Establish, review, update and maintain contingency work priorities for forced, planned and maintenance outage situations.
•Maintain inventory of plant materials, monitors and promptly report all indications of missing or damaged materials and supplies. Responsible for proper storage of inventory with accurate accounting, conducts periodic cycle counts, inventory audits and reconciling of inventory. Maintains, updates, and utilizes inventory records in the Maximo system, assists in preparation of reports, analysis, financial and inventory information.
•Maintain accurate records for all material transactions, receiving, handling, preparing, shipping, and issuing of plant materials. Maintains, updates, and utilizes receiving records in the Maximo, assists in preparation, processing and disposition of invoices, bills of lading, and receipts. Prepare packages and make necessary arrangements for outgoing shipments. Organizes the kitting and staging of job material.
•Recommend and facilitate the procurement of parts and equipment necessary to support all identified maintenance and critical equipment spare parts.
•Coordinate with the Operations personnel to determine the required project conditions and appropriate work isolation for planned maintenance, including the preparation of lockout/tagouts.
•Coordinate with Plant Management and vendors to review, update and maintain the preventive and predictive maintenance programs comply and are in accordance with vendor recommendations and procedures.
•Implement the preventive maintenance program, including equipment failure records and providing trend information to the Plant Management.
•Develop, review, maintain and administer a training program for the operations and maintenance personnel to promote development opportunities and qualifications of skills to create a more flexible and productive team. Provide coaching and additional training for the team to ensure appropriate skill sets are maintained and personnel are qualified for the activities with which they are being asked to perform.
•Participate in the completion of all facility reporting requirements including environmental, safety, budgeting, and plant performance.
•Coordinate with Plant Management, Operations, and Maintenance personnel in monitoring and optimizing the plant performance. This includes periodic testing, evaluations, and recommendations for improvement projects with cost justifications.
•Communicate effectively with the Plant Management, Operations, and Maintenance personnel, the customer, vendors, and outside agencies.
•Demonstrate effective management skills in meeting or exceeding facility goals and objectives and support Plant Management in ensuring that EthosEnergy is performing in accordance with the O&M agreement.
•Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills / Knowledge

•5 years of Process / Operational experience.
Experience
•5 years experience in power generation in operations and maintenance and gas turbine operations.
Education Requirements
•Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical operation and maintenance instruction manuals.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Excellent organizational skills
•Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project
Physical Requirements
•Physical requirements include standing on feet for extended periods of time, stair and ladder climbing and routinely lifting up to 50 pounds. Protective equipment such as hard hats, safety glasses, air masks, ear protection and high voltage protective equipment must be worn in the performance of some duties.
•Position requires extended working hours and varied shifts with the possibility of weekend and holiday work, as required by schedules, workload, and project conditions. "On call" status will periodically be required.
•All employees will participate in the Fitness for Duty Program. This program includes a post-offer physical examination and drug screening and post-employment random drug screening. There are extensive smoking restrictions in and around the facility.
