JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Coordinator will lead crews in performing equipment maintenance repairs, equipment maintenance support programs, building and ground maintenance, and small vehicle repairs.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
•Able to meet the physical demands of the position according to the physical demands analysis.
•Foster safety, learning, and a building a team atmosphere within the crew.
•Establish and maintain a safe work environment and establishing and following best practices.
•Guide teams to identify deficiencies and where improvements can be made, and aid in implementation.
•Facilitate training to ensure a trained workforce will be successful.
•Set and monitor performance standards, emphasis on team involvement, responsibility, accountability and empowerment within team boundaries.
•Support other maintenance functions as required, and monitors compliance with federal, state and company regulations, and environmental programs.
•Responsible for mine support functions including shop, parts area, environmental issues, grounds and small vehicle care including planning and scheduling work; and the scheduling and monitoring of vendors and contractors as required.
•Supervise equipment fueling program.
•Responsible for continuous improvement programs and implementation.
•Maintain a safe work environment including environmental compliance, and work practices in compliance with federal, state and company regulations.
•Conduct incident investigations.
•Support mobile and field maintenance projects.
•Promote employee development and professional growth within the department.

•Ensure that all ESM policies/procedures are followed along with all state and federal laws.

+ Coach and mentor crew members
•Maintain timekeeping and pay records in appropriate database.
•Utilize PAV on projects for cost and efficiency.
•Collaborate with other departments as needed to coordinate upcoming projects.
