As our operations continue to grow, we are seeking a highly organized and proactive Operations Coordinator to join our dynamic team.
Position Summary
The Operations Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the day-to-day functions of our valve repair facility. This individual will oversee scheduling, logistics, documentation, and inventory tracking while completing projects efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.
Key Responsibilities
•Coordinate repair schedules, technician assignments, and material availability to optimize workflow and minimize downtime.
•Maintain accurate job tracking records for all valve repair projects within the company systems.
•Act as a liaison between operations, quality assurance, and warehouse departments to facilitate smooth project execution.
•Monitor and prioritize incoming work orders based on customer requirements and project deadlines.
•Assist procurement efforts by tracking parts usage, generating purchase requisitions, and confirming deliveries.
•Manage shipping and receiving of valve components, ensuring proper documentation and inventory updates.
•Prepare and organize job documentation packages, including repair reports, test results, and customer certifications.
•Support inventory management by assisting with cycle counts and maintaining stock levels of critical parts and materials.
•Promote and enforce adherence to company safety protocols and operational procedures.
Qualifications
•1+ years of experience in an operations, logistics, or coordination role (preferably in industrial, manufacturing, or repair environments).
•Familiarity with valve repair processes or related mechanical/industrial experience is highly desirable.
•Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP/job tracking systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks).
•Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
•Effective verbal and written communication skills.
•Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
•High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or an associate’s degree is preferred.
