We are currently seeking a skilled Operations Coordinator to join our Boart Longyear team in Elko, Nevada. This individual will be responsible for providing effective administrative assistance to the operations groups.

Responsibilities* Assist the Division Manager as required to safely maximize the efficiency and profitability of the RC division.

•

Coordinate with Field Supervisors to ensure project start-ups and completions go smoothly.

•

Assist Field Supervisors with setting up projects and completing field orders.

•

Oversee the invoicing process and drive DSO to the lowest number of days.

•

Review daily drill logs for accuracy and completeness.

•

Ability to interpret contracts and review all invoices for accuracy to minimize lost revenue and ensure fair billing to clients.

•

Partner with the Maintenance Department to ensure equipment readiness and that it is properly assigned/charged to each job.

•

Coordinate licensing, titles, and maintenance for all Division light vehicles.

•

Partner with Human Resources to recruit and retain premium talent.

•

Coordinate crews and equipment logistics to ensure job demands and customer requirements are met

•

Coordinate with the Division Manager, Field Supervisors, and HR to evaluate field employees on a monthly / quarterly basis.

•

Coordinate with EHS and Training teams to ensure training protocols are understood, communicated and executed to promote development of employee skills.

•

Act with integrity and consistently represent the interests of Boart Longyear.

•

Set performance expectations for administrative support employees and manage appropriately.

•

Provide effective on-the-job learning and development of administrative support employees.

•

Ensure continuous improvement initiatives are met across all areas of operations.

•

Some travel may be required.

Minimum Qualifications* A bachelor’s degree or Diploma in a related field is preferred although an applicable experience will also be considered.

•

Two+ years’ experience in a related field.

•

One+ year of experience in project management.

•

Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work collaboratively across the organization.

•

Proficiency in Microsoft Office
