Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Permitting & Scheduling Coordinator to support our operations team. This role will be responsible for managing permitting processes, coordinating installation schedules, handling HOA submittals, and submitting Net Energy Metering (NEM) applications. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with various stakeholders, and ensures our CRM is always up to date.
Key Responsibilities:
Permitting:
•Research requirements of local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs)
•Prepare, submit, and revise permitting documentation as needed
•Manage the permitting inbox and handle related communications
•Track and update permitting progress in the CRM system
Install Scheduling:
•Coordinate installation appointments with subcontractors
•Maintain and manage the installation calendar
•Confirm scheduling details with customers
•Ensure all scheduling data is accurately logged in the CRM
HOA Submittals:
•Research Homeowners Association (HOA) requirements for project approvals
•Collect necessary documents and information for HOA submissions
•Communicate with customers to obtain required signatures
•Keep CRM updated with HOA-related milestones
Net Energy Metering (NEM):
•Submit applications to Eversource and Imperial Irrigation District (IID)
•Respond to inquiries and follow up on NEM application status
Qualifications:
•Previous experience in permitting, scheduling, or a similar operations role
•Strong organizational and time-management skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
•Familiarity with CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) preferred
•Experience in solar or construction industries is a plus
•Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
